How Much You Love Them

Its not about whether they love you , its about how much you love them

Complaining how unfair our life is to family and friends

Allowing us to become complacent and bitter inside

Opinions differing from our owns are the ones we deride

This hatred is like a cancer slowly eating me up from within

Swearing this must be the work of the devil, some awful sin

Then beating ourselves up over past mistakes

Talking to anyone who will listen hoping that they can relate

Crying and screaming, kicking and shouting

Faith in the Lord we hurl up angrily renouncing

Why would do this to me God ? What the fuck did I do ?

But how would we feel if what we did was done to you ?

So maybe all can do is show those who hate me love

Ask on the greater strength of someone from above

And hope in time they will realise I am sorry

And come join me to carry on my story
